Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TripDeets application and service (the "Service"), operated by Apex Aspire Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("Apex Aspire", "we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TripDeets is a personal travel-organisation tool that consolidates flight details, hotel bookings, parking reservations, events, entry documents, and expenses into a single readable summary. The Service is provided as a web application and iOS/Android mobile application.

2. Accounts

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

2.2 Account security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@tripdeets.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

2.3 Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

3. Household sharing

The Service allows you to share trips with other members of your household. When you invite another person to your household:

  • They will have access to all trips, documents, and expenses within the shared household.
  • You are responsible for only inviting people you trust with access to that information.
  • Any household member may add, edit, or delete shared trip content.

You may remove household members at any time via the Settings screen. Removal takes immediate effect.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or share any content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or infringes a third party's rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or to other users' data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose (the Service is licensed for personal use only).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable personal use.

5. Flight status and travel data — no warranty

The Service displays live flight-status data obtained from third-party providers (AeroDataBox via RapidAPI). This information is provided for convenience only and is not a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Flight schedules and statuses can change rapidly.

You must always check with your airline or relevant authority before making any travel decision. Apex Aspire accepts no liability for loss or inconvenience arising from reliance on flight-status data displayed in the Service.

Travel-segment information you enter manually is not verified by us. We are not responsible for the accuracy of any user-entered data.

6. Uploaded documents

You may upload travel documents (boarding passes, hotel confirmations, visa letters, etc.) to the Service. By uploading a document you confirm that you have the right to store and share it within your household.

You retain all rights to documents you upload. We do not use your documents for any purpose other than displaying them to you and your household members.

Documents are stored in EU-jurisdiction Cloudflare R2 storage. See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the Service (including the TripDeets name, logo, software, and design) is owned by Apex Aspire Limited. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our intellectual property other than to use the Service for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or error-free. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or via an in-app message. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Termination

9.1 By you

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use the account-deletion option in Settings or email support@tripdeets.app.

9.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms.
  • We are required to do so by law.
  • We decide to discontinue the Service (in which case we will give reasonable notice and allow you to export your data).

9.3 Effect of termination

On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apex Aspire's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) £50.

We are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apex Aspire Limited and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms; or (b) content you upload or share through the Service.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, you may also have the benefit of mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply in your home country. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
